TikTok Tracks You Now. Biden Ok With That
Episode 12: In less than a week, ByteDance (TikTok drug makers) went from: we're tracking your kids data and making copies of their faces to POTUS saying, "meh, whatevs."
Remember when Trump was “looking into” whether or not to ban TikTok from American app stores? It was almost immediately disallowed from government-issued phones back in the pre-pandemic times of 2019. The military bans it outright. Marines, even woke ones, can’t make TikTok vids on government-issued phones anyway. But I wouldn’t taken that seriously. Anyone in the service that doesn’t have a government-issued phone, or is allowed their own private phone, could just as easily have TikTok.
TikTok quietly changed their privacy rights agreement recently. Guess what: their harvesting your face.

Regardless…
“Xie xie, Washington,” says Shouzi Chew (pictured), ByteDance’s new CEO. He was a senior executive for Xiaomi prior to his newly appointed position at TikTok.
